Eden Michelle’s love affair with music began as a 6yr old walking into her first classical piano lesson. By the time she was 13, the time spent cultivating her natural musical talent was translated into her first original song, “Photograph”. This first successful foray into songwriting soon led her to more penning, and in August 2008 she released her first album “Broken Truth”. Consisting of twelve tracks and released independently through her own label, JEM Records, the pop/rock offering sees Eden write, arrange, co-produce and record all lead and backing vocals on the project with the experienced Jon Buckley. To top it all off, she wrote and recorded the piano, guitar and string sections in a beautiful display of her many talents… all by the tender age of 16.

The last few years have been spent honing Eden’s craft… especially her live performance, mainly around Johannesburg, South Africa. With a full band set-up interpreting her music, the experience has helped her grow as a performer and define her identity as an artist. Her songwriting has also matured significantly as she works through her second album. Having always drawn heavily on personal experience for inspiration, her increased sensitivity and awareness of the world in and around her inevitably shines through in her music. And with her drive and level-head leading her, Eden Michelle should see her dream of sharing her music and passion with the entire world come true sooner rather than later.
