Biography
A true prodigy, Eden began her musical path early in life. She was trained as a classical pianist from the age of six, and won numerous awards and accolades. She wrote her first song " Photograph " when she was thirteen.
Since then, she has written more than twenty songs and has shown a natural talent for writing catchy pop and rock songs.
At sixteen years old, Eden released her debut album Broken Truth – recording all the lead and backing vocals, piano and rhythm guitar parts herself.
Broken Truth is a diverse album with captivating rock songs and soulful, evocative ballads. She has proven capable of writing powerful lyrics and melodies that are unforgettable.
She now performs at clubs and corporate events as a solo artist and also with her band – Andrew Sowter ( drums ), Luis Getulio ( Bass ) and Jaydine Baron ( keyboards ).
Eden was featured on YoTv at the end of August and performed two songs with her band to a live audience. The band was interviewed on the show and excerpts from her recent gig at the Blues Room were also shown.
Eden has also been interviewed for KFM 94.5 and will be broadcast at the end of September preceding the Cape Outdoor Adventure Expo at Bien Donne in October.
