KFM broadcast last night (28 September 2008) – historical moment
It was a truly memorable evening to have the family together to listen to the first broadcast ever of Eden being interviewed “live” on radio and her song “Enough” being played to the Cape audiences.
Of course we had the memorable Yo Tv experience at the end of August and now as September comes to an end we have been privileged to hear Eden over the Cape radio bandwaves.
Thanks for the encouraging messages from friends and fans. Without you, none of this would be possible.
Eden and Jaydine are preparing for their time at the Bien Donne Outdoor Adventure Expo accompanied by Jack and Darren who will be there to attend to the CD sales.
This show promises to be an exciting adventure for all, being attended by about 17 000 people.
There will be five shows starting on Saturday morning at 12h30 until 2 – and then another performance at 3pm – 4pm. The same will apply on Sunday.
On Saturday there will be an extra half hour performance in the evening.
Oh, and not to forget all our local fans, Eden and Jaydine will be playing at the Duo Competition at Tanz Café on Thursday night 2 October.

eden on yotv
Great excitement for the Yo Tv presentation. Eden and the band arrived at the Urban Brew Studio’s on the Friday night for a briefing.
Saturday morning was an early start. First equipment had to be set up and then make up done by 8.
At 9h30 Eden and the band were ready on stage and were introduced by the presenters. They played “Only You” in front of the live audience. Later in the show they played “What If”
During the show the band were interviewed and excerpts from the recent Blues Room gig were aired.
Some t-shirts with Eden’s logo and some posters were given out to some lucky people in the audience as well as a few of Eden’s debut CD’s, “Broken Truth”
What an exciting time was had by all.
One of Eden’s most ardent little fans, Makyla, travelled all the way from Germiston to the studio’s and was there at 6am in the morning to be part of the live audience.

cd hot off the press
Perhaps a highlight for Eden and of course the family when we arrived at RTG, the replication company to see the first CD’s being pressed.
Ashley Isserow very kindly gave us a tour of the building and all the different sections. This would have been an experience all on it’s own but as you can see from the pictures, the sight of Eden’s logo on the CD’s being pressed was an exciting moment for all of us.
CD’s had been ordered before the release and back at the office we opened a box of CD’s for anxious fans.
We have recorded this on a photograph, Barry, Eden’s creative director and Eden showing their excitement!!
At the close of business on 12 September we placed an order for the second 1000 discs. Hard to believe it was just over a month when we placed our first order.
CD’s should be gracing the shelves of the stores in October.

Eden at KRock Festival
This event took place on 2nd August at the Colin Mann School in Germiston. Eden and her band, Andrew Sowter on drums, Luis Getulio on bass and Jaydine Baron on keyboards were called in at the last moment to replace one of the bands.
They were the first to play and were so well received. Afterwards the audience were lining up for autographs – on the K Rock t-shirts and on Eden Michelle posters.
The local Germiston newspaper published an A4 picture of Eden with her guitar on the front page with the headline “Colin Mann Rocks” and also had a picture of Eden with some fans “up close and personal with their favourite artist”
The schools have been very receptive to the band and the band have enjoyed playing for them. We are hoping to be a part of K Rock Festival again in the not too distant future.
